Another 2024 top-10 draft pick is about to be on the move.
According to ESPNFL, the Cardinals will be trading receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Harrison, per the report, will be inactive for Sunday’s game against the Lions, as the details are finalized.
The current chatter in league circles is that Harrison will land in Houston, where he’d be reunited with former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud.
The Cardinals, we’re told, had been looking for a package that includes a second-round pick. Whether they get that remains to be seen.
And it’s definitely unusual for the news of a trade to emerge without a destination. It could be an eleventh-hour attempt to get other teams to the table, in the hopes of driving up the price.
When the trade happens, Harrison will join former Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who was taken tenth overall in 2024, as players traded fairly quickly by the teams that took them.
Harrison has become largely forgotten in the Arizona offense under new coach Mike LaFleur. In four games this season, he has five catches for 85 yards and one touchdown.
