It’s one thing for defensive end Randy Gregory to fail the marijuana test at the Scouting Combine. It’s another for Gregory to tell teams at the Combine that he hadn’t smoked pot since November.
That’s precisely what happened, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
With Gregory testing positive in late February, it means that he smoked pot in late January, or later.
It’s still unknown what will happen with Gregory or Shane Ray, a pair of talented pass rushers who could slide due to marijuana issues. For Ray, it wasn’t a positive test but a marijuana possession citation on Monday.
