Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was not on the team plane when the Patriots left for Arizona Friday afternoon, the Providence Journal reported.
Though that doesn’t necessarily mean that Gronkowski will miss Sunday’s night’s game vs. the Cardinals -- he could still be getting treatment at home in hopes of playing, and the team charter left more than 48 hours before kickoff -- his absence from the flight is a sign that the Patriots have been preparing to play without him.
Gronkowski has been battling a hamstring injury and told reporters he’s “week to week” because of it.
Offensive tackle Nate Solder and guard Jonathan Cooper also weren’t on the flight, per the report. The Patriots listed all their injured players as questionable on their official injury report Friday.
