After making the decision to release linebacker Jameel McClain and fullback Vonta Leach last week, Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome left the door open for the players to potentially return to Baltimore.

However, McClain doesn’t plan on waiting around for the invitation to come back.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, McClain has a free agent visit scheduled for Wednesday with the Buffalo Bills. It’s his first visit since being release by the Ravens.

McClain suffered a spinal cord contusion in 2012 but returned to play in 10 games for Baltimore last season. He racked up 52 tackles with a forced fumble.

McClain has spent all six seasons with the Ravens.
