The Patriots have fired offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday.
DeGuglielmo joined the Patriots in 2014 following the retirement of longtime Patriots coach Dante Scarnecchia. DeGuglielmo had previously coached with the Dolphins, Giants and Jets.
The Patriots had to shuffle personnel on their offensive line all season due to injuries. The line had played well before Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, when the Broncos sacked Tom Brady four times and recorded 20 quarterback hits, the most by any team in a game this season.
