The Saints plan to sign veteran fullback John Kuhn, ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported Friday.
After breaking into the NFL with the Steelers in 2006, Kuhn has played the last nine seasons with the Packers as a short-yardage specialist and occasional backfield receiving weapon.
Kuhn has 15 career rushing touchdowns and eight receiving touchdowns. He’s been durable, too, missing just three games over the last six seasons.
Kuhn, 33, had said last month he wanted to play again and that he expected to get a call from some team, even if it wasn’t the Packers.
