After a year spent with the Arizona Cardinals, linebacker Sean Weatherspoon is set to return to Atlanta.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Weatherspoon has reached a one-year deal to return to the Falcons.
Weatherspoon spent the first five seasons of his career in Atlanta with the Falcons. However, a ruptured Achilles forced him to miss the entire 2014 season before signing a one-year deal with the Cardinals last year.
Weatherspoon appeared in 14 games but managed just 11 tackles in limited action for Arizona.
