Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston and the woman who accused him of rape in 2012 have reached a settlement, TMZ reported Wednesday.
The report said details of the settlement are unclear, but said Winston and his accuser will file a joint dismissal of her civil lawsuit against him.
Winston was never criminally charged. The accuser, Erica Kinsman, filed the civil suit against him in April 2015, not long before he became the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.
Kinsman was awarded $950,000 via a settlement earlier this year after she sued Florida State University, claiming the university had botched the investigation and focused on keeping Winston on the football team.
