The Seahawks made a handful of roster moves earlier today, but they made what could be a much bigger one this afternoon.
The team announced they had signed veteran guard Jahri Evans, bringing a six-time Pro Bowler to a team in the midst of an offensive line overhaul.
They waived second-year guard Kona Schwenke to clear the roster spot.
The 32-year-old Evans should lend some stability to a line which is being rebuilt for good reasons. They’ve been using first-rounder Germain Ifedi at right guard in camp, though he could shift out to tackle.
Evans was a dependable starter for the Saints, but was cut in February after refusing a pay cut.
