Zach Miller is heading to Seattle.
Miller, the tight end who was one of the best remaining NFL free agents available, has made a surprising decision to sign with the Seahawks after it looked like he would stay with the Raiders, ESPN is reporting.
The Raiders took Miller in the second round of the 2007 draft, and he’s been their starting tight end since. Last year he led the Raiders in catches (60), receiving yards (685) and receiving touchdowns (five).
Miller will be the Seahawks’ starter at tight end, and perhaps Tarvaris Jackson’s most important receiver.
