The Seahawks waived defensive end Malliciah Goodman on Tuesday to clear space on their roster for the signing of defensive end Damontre Moore.

Goodman was signed by Seattle last week after the team placed defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson on injured reserve. Goodman played 13 snaps against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

With Michael Bennett set to have surgery on Wednesday to repair cartilage in his injured right knee, Seattle elected to bring in Moore instead to supplement their defensive line depth.

Seattle also re-signed running back/wide receiver George Farmer to their practice squad and released quarterback Joel Stave and fullback Julian Howsare from the squad. Farmer was waived from Seattle’s injured reserve list in September.
