If we accept the reality that half of the teams that make it to the playoffs in a given year won’t make it back the next year, the process of prognosticating which teams will qualify in the coming year becomes more difficult.
This year, as we’ve done in recent years, we try to peg the six of last year’s 12 most likely to make it back in 2010, the six most likely to get bumped, and the six non-playoff teams most likely to make it this time around.
