The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Kentucky outside linebacker Alvin “Bud” Dupree with the No. 22 overall pick in the draft.
With Jason Worilds decision to retire, the Steelers needed help at outside linebacker. Pittsburgh re-signed James Harrison, who will turn 37 in May, due to their need for pass rush help.
Dupree gives them a younger option to transition to in the future.
Dupree racked up 7.5 sacks during his senior season at Kentucky with a total of 23.5 during his tenure with the Wildcats. He finished second on the team in tackles with 74, including 12.5 tackles for loss.
