The Texans announced the addition of a tight end to the roster on Sunday.
They have signed Louis Hansen. There was no corresponding move needed to make room for Hansen in Houston.
It’s Hansen’s second stint with the Texans. He signed with them in June and was waived in late July.
Hansen played two years at Michigan and three years at Connecticut before going undrafted this April. He had 46 catches for 463 yards and four touchdowns in 40 college games.
Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor are the other tight ends on the Texans’ roster.
