The Texans placed rookie offensive lineman Greg Mancz on injured reserve Tuesday and replaced him on the roster with Eric Kush, who most recently spent time on the practice squad with the Panthers and also spent time with the Chiefs and Buccaneers.

In a swap of practice squad running backs, the Texans also cut Daryl Richardson from the practice squad and added Akeem Hunt.

Mancz, an undrafted rookie from Toledo, was the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year last fall. Injury issues were a primary reason he went undrafted. He injured his knee in last weekend’s win over the Titans.

Hunt is an undrafted rookie from Purdue. He previously spent time with the Giants and Ravens.

The Texans also worked out former Chiefs running back Cyrus Gray, former Colts center-guard Jacques McClendon, former Chiefs center Daniel Munyer, former Bills center Dalton Freeman and former Buccaneers and Packers center Josh Allen.
