The Arizona Cardinals will travel to Tennessee to take on the Titans in the second week of the preseason, and then they plan to stay in town to practice with the Titans for the last two days of Tennessee’s training camp.
Titans coach Jeff Fisher said today that he and Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt have tentatively agreed to practice together on August 25 and 26 after playing each other on August 23. The Titans will break camp after the practice on the 26th, and the Cardinals will then head to Chicago to take on the Bears on August 28.
“I have talked to coach Whisenhunt,’' Fisher told Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, “and it appears that they are planning on staying and having their practice week here in Nashville. We are looking at the possibility of practicing once or twice following the ball game.’'
Although the August 23 exhibition game will carry the usual inflated ticket price of NFL preseason games, the tentative plan is to make both of the Cardinals-Titans practices free and open to the public.
