Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch hasn’t had the contract year numbers he would have liked to this point in the season.
His team is 0-6, and he doesn’t have a sack yet since undergoing groin surgery at the end of 2008.
But those numbers won’t prevent the Titans and Vanden Bosch from talking dollars this weekend, when the two sides are set to speak about an extension, according to NFL’s Jason La Canfora.
Vanden Bosch hasn’t seen as many pass rushing opportunities this year with his team always trailing, but he recorded 16.5 sacks between 2007-2008 despite missing 6 games. He is second on the team among defensive linemen with 18 tackles in 2009.
