Jordan Todman of the Colts returned the opening kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown in Green Bay last Sunday, and on Wednesday Todman was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Todman also had a 61-yard kickoff return later in the game.

His touchdown return was the first kick return touchdown for the Colts’ franchise since 2012 and the franchise’s first to open a game since 1995.

The weekly honor is the first of Todman’s career. Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri was the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 5 of this season and also the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October. Todman is the first Colts’ returner to win the weekly honor since T.Y. Hilton did it in 2012.
