If Tom Brady was angry about the shadow cast over his team by the #DeflateGate investigation, he never let it show.

But after he won his third Super Bowl MVP award, his father admitted how difficult the leaks and allegations of leaks had been.

“All week long, Tommy said, ‘Take the high road,’” his father, Tom Brady Sr. said, via Seth Wickersham of ESPN.com.

But Brady Sr. wasn’t so obliged, using the moments after the win over the Seahawks to take a shot at the NFL for the way the investigation has been handled.

“He is all class,” Brady Sr. said. “For people to question his integrity, . . .

“The drip, drip, drip way that things have come out, . . . It’s a conniving way to do business. . . . There was no sting? B.S. They’ve never gauged footballs at halftime. He got screwed the past two weeks.”

Of course, the league still hasn’t talked to him, and it will likely be some time before the report on Ted Wells’ investigation is released.

But until then, at least the Bradys get the last laugh.
