Tom Brady’s wife says they’re not supporting Donald Trump

Maybe Tom Brady wants to Make America Great Again. But his wife Gisele Bundchen suggests that perhaps they’re not Stronger Together on this issue.

Via Doug Kyed of NESN.com, the wife of the Patriots quarterback made a comment on Instagram that they were not, in fact, supporting Donald Trump.

An Instagram commenter asked the Brazilian supermodel Friday: “Gisele I heard you and Tom were backing Trump! Is that true?? @gisele.”

Bundchen responded, “NO!”

The fact she responded to an Instagram post at all is moderately interesting, considering she has over 10 million followers there. And perhaps she was just speaking for herself rather than for the couple.

But her husband has taken great pains to avoid any mention of his political leanings, which seem clear, considering he calls Trump a “good friend,” and avoided the Patriots’ last trip to visit Barack Obama at the White House.

Brady said Monday during his weekly appearance on WEEI that he’d reveal who he voted for next week, and that he planned to vote either yesterday or today. But early voting in Massachusetts ended Friday, so he didn’t do it yesterday. Trump said last night that Brady told him he had already voted for him, while reading an alleged letter from Bill Belichick.
