The Cardinals have gone away from the run and have turned the ball over twice in the third quarter.

The 49ers have taken advantage, and they’re very much in the game.

It’s 20-13 headed to the fourth quarter. Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer lost a fumble and threw an interception off a tipped pass in the third quarter.

The Cardinals led 14-0 early in the second quarter but have since struggled to get David Johnson and the run game going against the league’s worst run defense. The 49ers have blown chances to make it even closer as they try to avoid an eighth straight loss.

Through three quarters Johnson had just 10 carries.
