The Bengals have surprised some people with their undefeated start, and that group apparently extends to the Seahawks.
Andy Dalton just hit a wide-open tight end Tyler Eifert for a 14-yard touchdown pass, giving them a 7-0 lead after one possession.
Such early scores have become the norm for the Bengals this year, but the Seahawks looked startled in the early going.
Other than neglecting to cover Eifert, the Bengals opening drive also featured a 44-yard completion to Marvin Jones, which was the longest play allowed by the Seahawks all year.
But there was plenty of other stuff to look at, as the Bengals worked a number of different formations and personnel groups on the opening drive. That included one set with both tackles split wide, on which Dalton was able to run for a first down.
