Defensive lineman Jonathan Harris is back with the Vikings.
The team announced Harris’s signing on Monday. He spent time on the team’s practice squad the last two seasons, but did not appear in any regular season games.
Harris has played in 40 games for the Panthers, Broncos and Bears. He had 91 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in those appearances.
The Vikings also announced the signing of tight end Matt Lauter. Lauter tried out for the team at their rookie minicamp and has had brief stints with the Raiders and Titans this offseason.
Defensive lineman Taki Taimani and cornerback Tyreek Chappell were waived in corresponding moves. Both cuts came with injury designations.
