Von Miller pays price for farting in team meetings

In Colorado, marijuana is legal. But Broncos players can’t smoke it. Farting also is legal. But Broncos players can’t do it in meetings, without paying a price.

Via Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, linebacker Von Miller said teammates fine players for farting in meetings -- and that Miller believes he has been fined the most for it.

“They can’t fine me if I get up and walk away,” Miller said. “It’s not healthy. I keep trying to tell them it’s not healthy if I just sit there and hold it in. Nobody in the world does that. I just do it more than the average person.”

If it makes Miller feel any better, in most gatherings of humans it’s generally frowned upon to lift a leg and let one rip. Surely, plenty of people do it anyway, but life beyond the walls of a football facility is hardly the fart fest Miller thinks it is.

Maybe Miller is the one who has it right, and it’s the rest of us who have it wrong.
