Washington has Falcons off balance, hanging onto 7-3 lead

Washington certainly has something to do with it, but the Falcons look nothing like an undefeated team today.

Quarterback Matt Ryan is being forced into an off day, but he’s not nearly as off as kicker Matt Bryant.

Bryant has plunked a field goal attempt off either upright, missing a pair which leaves the Falcons in a 7-3 hole in the third quarter.

He just needs to hit the crossbar for the trifecta, but that would represent accuracy like his teammates should not expect from anyone today.

Ryan has been sacked three times, picked off once and fumbled, as Washington has kept him off balance all day. The missed field goals don’t help, but Bryant’s far from the only reason they’re losing this one.
