A wild afternoon in Seattle isn’t over yet.

After Marshawn Lynch gave the Seahawks their first lead of the game with 1:25 left to play, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed three passes and made a crucial scramble for 12 yards to move the ball into position for a Mason Crosby field goal try.

The 48-yarder sailed through the uprights for Crosby’s fifth field goal of the afternoon and a 22-22 tie with 15 seconds left to play in the game. The Seahawks

The Packers led for the majority of the contest, but never put the Seahawks away because of turnovers, settling for field goals and other missed opportunities. The Seahawks offense never made anything happen until the final minutes of the fourth quarter, however. They scored 15 points in less than a minute to grab the lead and make for a classic ending to a game that was anything but for the first 55 minutes or so.

The last time these two teams went to overtime in the playoffs there was a classic ending as well. Matt Hasselbeck said the Seahawks would take the ball and score for a win after winning the coin toss, but an Al Harris interception for a touchdown gave the Packers a victory. There were no such guarantees after the Seahawks won the toss this time.
