Tight end Zach Miller’s one-handed 25-yard touchdown catch with three minutes left to play capped a second half rally to give the Chicago Bears a 22-19 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Monday night.

After trailing 16-7 at halftime, the Bears offense marched down the field seemingly at ease in the second half. Chicago had three straight drives of at least 10 plays that led the rally.

Jeremy Langford scored on a 1-yard touchdown run to close the gap to 16-14 early in the fourth quarter. Following a 22-yard Josh Lambo field goal, the Bears marched for the go-ahead score. Miller’s touchdown grab capped a 10-play, 80-yard drive that gave the Bears the lead. Langford added a two-point conversion to push the lead to 22-19 with 3:19 remaining.

San Diego moved into Bears’ territory before Lamarr Houston managed a pair of sacks of Philip Rivers to stifle the Chargers final possession. Rivers pass on 4th and 23 fell incomplete and the Bears kneeled out the remaining close to grab the victory.
