Cardinals signed OL Rashaad Coward, formerly of the Falcons.
Coward is a career journeyman who is now on his fourth team since May 2021. Able to line up at both tackle and guard, Coward is a versatile offensive lineman who has started 15 games and has 34 games under his belt. He’s likely nothing more than a camp body at this point in his career.

  • FA Defensive Back #23
Steelers declared CB Joe Haden (groin), QB Dwayne Haskins, LB Devin Bush (groin), DL Carlos Davis (knee), and OL Rashaad Coward inactive for Week 2 against the Raiders.
Pittsburgh will also be without Devin Bush, who made his return from an ACL injury last week against Buffalo. Losing Haden and Bush is a blow to a Steelers defense taking on a Raiders team playing on a short week, traveling across country for an early kickoff. Pittsburgh’s defense remains a top option in fantasy despite the injuries.

  • FA Defensive Lineman #91
Steelers placed DE Stephon Tuitt (knee) on injured reserve.
Tuitt did not practice at any point in the offseason so this move doesn’t come as much of a surprise. He will miss at least three games, as will running back Anthony McFarland and offensive lineman Zach Banner. They used the three roster spots to sign offensive linemen Rashaad Coward and B.J. Finney and cornerback Arthur Maulet. Tuitt is coming off a career year that saw him hit 11 sacks and 10 TFLs. At 27 years old, Tuitt should still have a few prime years left if he comes off injured reserve unscathed.
