Even if Lee Suggs returns, Droughns will have his chance to carve up the Packers defense. He’s a decent flex position play.

Droughns has earned it and should be a safe start in your lineup this coming week.

Griffin didn’t make it through eight plays at practice Friday. So it would be fairly surprising if he carried a normal load on Sunday. Droughns and Garrison Hearst are expected to both earn carries behind Griffin.

Speaking of Reuben Droughns and Quentin Griffin, Shanahan said “They’ll both get a chance to play, that’s for sure.” Speculation in Denver has Droughns getting the bulk of the work, with Griffin serving as a change of pace/third-down type. We’d play Droughns in most leagues.

He’s listed as probable. If Tatum Bell plays Sunday, expect them to split carries. If not, big Rube could have a monster day at Kansas City.

Denver traditionally runs more in the second half of the season. More good news for this every-week fantasy starter.
