The Eagles now have just three running backs on their roster: Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Kenny Gainwell. The Eagles also waived/released DB Andrew Adams, OT Le’Raven Clark, DL Hassan Ridgeway, TE Richard Rodgers, DB Kevon Seymour, DB Grayland Arnold, OG Kayode Awosika, WR Travis Fulgham, WR John Hightower, RB Jason Huntley, DB Craig James, DL Matt Leo, OG Iosua Opeta, WR Andre Patton, C Ross Pierschbacher, DB Elijah Riley, S JaCoby Stevens, and DL Raequan Williams.

Pierschbacher (6’4/307) made a whopping 57 starts on the Crimson Tide’s offensive line, the first 42 at left guard and final 15 at center, where he earned second-team All-American as a senior. On game tape, Pierschbacher overcomes second-percentile SPARQ athleticism with smarts and tenacity, excelling as both a zone-pull and gap-oriented power blocker. Pierschbacher’s guard-center versatility gives him a swing-reserve floor to go with a low-end starter’s ceiling.
