The Cleveland O-line was already having problems. Joaquin Gonzalez will have to match up against Michael Strahan this week.

With guard Paul Zukauskas injured, and Ross Verba ailing a bit, the Browns offensive line is in more trouble this week than usual. It’s a bad sign for Lee Suggs owners.

It should be a big boost to the Browns passing game. Tucker’s replacement, Joaquin Gonzalez, was getting abused the last few weeks.

The sky is falling on the Browns offense. When this news becomes official, it will further hurt Jeff Garcia, William Green, and Lee Suggs’ value.

A recent MRI revealed loose cartilage in Tucker’s knee. The procedure would likely sideline him until at least the start of the season.

Head coach Romeo Crennel expects both to be ready for the season but neither is expected to play in any preseason games.

Tucker will likely be limited until the season but his return was a welcome one for an ailing team. Replacement right tackles Kirk Chambers and Nat Dorsey were ineffective in preseason games.

Joaquin Gonzalaez will start once again. Gonzalez was abused by Michael Strahan this week.

He was forced to miss the last couple series of Sunday’s game, a bad sign considering Tucker’s usual toughness. He’s the best player on Cleveland’s O-line and would be a huge loss, in addition to the three first round picks Cleveland lost to injury on Sunday.

The Browns think each will be back for week six.
