Texans GM Nick Caserio said the team has placed RT Braden Smith (foot) on injured reserve.

Smith and OL Sam Hagen (undisclosed) will miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season. The 30-year-old Smith was a priority free agent target for the Texans. Trent Brown will likely draw the starting nod at right tackle.
