    Bears signed WR Devin Duvernay.
Duvernay provides wide receiver depth and will likely compete for a special teams role as a returner. He is not fantasy-relevant. The Bears also signed LS Scott Daly, placed DL Austin Booker on injured reserve with a designation to return, waived LB Carl Jones Jr., signed TE Nikola Kalinic, DB Dontae Manning and S Gervarrius Owens to the practice squad while releasing LS Luke Elkin and DB Mekhi Garner.
  • CHI Center #46
Bears re-signed long snapper Scott Daly to a one-year contract.
Daly will return to the Bears after playing 17 games in 2024, his first year in Chicago. Daly was a reliable long snapper for three years in Detroit before his stint with the Bears. Pro Football Focus graded the Chicago special teams unit as last season’s 12th-worst.
  • CHI Center #46
Bears ruled out LS Scott Daly (knee) for the remainder for Week 6 against the Jags.
Cole Kmet, the team’s emergency long snapper, will snap footballs farther than the average snap for the remainder of this game.
