Lions LB Teddy Lehman is expected to start today.
The Lions move to youth continues with Lehman making his first NFL start.

The Lions signed LB Teddy Lehman to a four year contract.
The Oklahoma product was the 37th pick of April’s Draft. Lehman’s deal includes a signing bonus of $1.5 million. There also is an option bonus of $320,000 to be paid in 2005. Lehman is currently behind Earl Holmes at MLB.

Lions LB Teddy Lehman remains out indefinitely with a foot injury.
It sounds like he could miss most of training camp and his status for the regular season is in doubt. Boss Bailey is also out, but should return soon.
  • JAC Linebacker
The Lions plan to use Teddy Lehman (foot) at strong-side linebacker this season.
Lehman is naturally a middle ‘backer but his athletic ability could cater to the Lions’ Tampa Two. Recovering from foot surgery, Lehman is questionable for training camp.

Lions LB Teddy Lehman (foot) is questionable for the start of training camp.
On paper, we’d guess Lehman is the favorite for a starting job lined up next to Boss Bailey and Ernie Sims. He’s had trouble staying healthy in his brief career.
  • JAC Linebacker
Rookie linebacker Teddy Lehman had a standout week one performance.
Lehman was all over the field, despite playing a new position, strong-side linebacker. He may not pile up huge stats yet, but he should be a highly sought after target in deep dynasty leagues.

Jaguars signed LB Teddy Lehman, formerly of the Bills.
Lehman, the No. 37 overall pick in the 2004 draft, was out of the NFL last year, but must have shown well during a recent tryout at Jaguars minicamp. He’ll compete for a backup job at middle linebacker and on special teams.
  • JAC Linebacker
Teddy Lehman will probably be moved to middle linebacker of weak-side linebacker next season.
He started all 16 games on the strong side this season because of an injury to Boss Bailey. The move should only help Lehman’s IDP value. He’ll be a fine sleeper.

LB Teddy Lehman (knee) did not play Sunday, but could be available to play the Bears this week.
That the Lions shut down the Packers without Lehman is all the more impressive.
  • JAC Linebacker
Lions declared LB Teddy Lehman inactive for week one.
Other Lions notables that aren’t playing: Jeff Garcia and Cory Shlesinger.
