Tom Nalen will consider retiring after the season.
Nalen is an anchor in that great Denver offensive line. The reign of the Denver offensive line as one of the best in the NFL might be drawing to a close.

Broncos C Tom Nalen will miss the rest of the season with a torn biceps.
Denver has a lot of inexperience behind Nalen, so the Pro Bowler’s loss will sting. Reserve TE Nate Jackson (groin) is also lost for the rest of the year.

Pro Bowl center Tom Nalen suffered a biceps injury Sunday and will undergo an MRI on Monday.
It would be a big hit to the Broncos’ offense if Nalen’s injury turns out to be serious.

The Broncos believe C Tom Nalen (knee surgery) will be ready to play “early this season .”
The team says that his latest surgery “took,” so his knee should respond this time. Nalen is not a great bet to stay healthy all year, but an early season return would benefit the running game.

Broncos C Tom Nalen (knee) returned to practice on Wednesday.
A plus for Denver’s ground game. Assuming Nalen still has something left, the five-time Pro Bowler should bolster the zone blocking scheme, possibly allowing one back to get the “hot hand” and take over as a primary runner.

Broncos C Tom Nalen has suffered a setback in his return from knee surgery and has been shut down from practicing.
The team is not thinking about placing Nalen on injured reserve, but the news is discouraging. The passing offense is obviously doing just fine with Casey Wiegmann filling in; the ground game hasn’t been so great.

Tom Nalen has a sore knee, and the Broncos are concerned enough to schedule an MRI.
The 37-year-old center was supposed to be recovered, but he’s dealing with irritation in the bursa sac beneath the knee. Nalen doesn’t think it’s serious, but we’ll know for sure after the results come in.

An MRI revealed no structural damage to Broncos C Tom Nalen’s knee, coach Mike Shanahan confirmed.
“Tom is such a tough guy, so when he feels like he’s ready to go, he’ll go,” Shanahan said. “When will that be? I really don’t know.” Casey Weigmann is filling in with the first time. Nalen should be back by Week 1.

Broncos C Tom Nalen will undergo his second knee surgery of the offseason Friday.
Nalen’s left knee didn’t respond to a June arthroscopy and he’s having it “cleaned up” again. He will be out indefinitely. Nalen is 37 and a poor bet to play more than a few games this season. This could hurt Denver’s run game.

Despite returning to practice this week, Broncos C Tom Nalen is expected to miss Sunday’s bout with San Diego.
Casey Wiegmann will continue to start. Nalen’s status is week to week.
