Ravens declared CB Tre’Davious White ,TE Isaiah Likely, CB Jalyn Armour-Davis, EDGE Brent Urban, RB Rasheen Ali, EDGE Adisa Isaac and C Nick Samac inactive for Week 10 against the Bengals.
Acquired from the Rams two days ago, White couldn’t get up to speed in only two days time. Although now well post-peak, White falls into “all the help they can get” territory for the Ravens’ beleaguered secondary, and will undoubtedly be out there for Week 11 snaps.
  • BAL Cornerback #27
Ravens acquired CB Tre’Davious White and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Rams for a 2026 seventh-round pick.
White had been given permission to seek a trade in late October. The Ravens will take a shot on the 29-year-old as they desperately try to find another potential answer at cornerback. The cost was, well, a year of waiting to take a seventh-round pick. Hard to critique either the Ravens for biting or the Rams for letting White move on.
  • LAR Cornerback #27
Rams HC Sean McVay said the team has given Tre’Davious White and his agent permission to seek a trade.
White has been a healthy scratch in each of the Rams’ last three games. The former Bill spent the first month of the season getting cooked by opposing receivers, allowing nine catches for 151 yards and four touchdowns on just 13 targets. A string of brutal injuries has undoubtedly slowed the former All-Pro, who is only 29 years old. He could likely be added for a late Day 3 pick, but his recent string of outings may be enough to keep any potential suitors away.
  • LAR Cornerback #27
Rams declared Tre White, Cooper Kupp, Stetson Bennett, Cody Schrader, Brennan Jackson, Geron Christian Sr., and Desjuan Johnson inactive for Week 5 against the Packers.
White will remain out against the Packers, who have a prime matchup against a miserable LA secondary. Meanwhile, Cooper Kupp (ankle) remains sidelined and is expected back following the Rams’ Week 6 bye.
  • LAR Defensive Back #24
CB Darious Williams suffered a hamstring strain at Rams training camp on Thursday.
Rotational CB Derion Kendrick suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Wednesday’s practice as well, worsening the impact of Williams’ soft-tissue issue. The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue reports Williams’ injury, of unknown severity, occurred during the final play of Thursday’s practice. The Rams front office signed Williams and Tre’Davious White, formerly of the Bills, to man the perimeter cornerback positions this offseason. While White is currently a full practice participant, it should be noted he suffered season-ending injuries in both 2021 (ACL tear) and 2023 (Achilles tendon rupture).
  • LAR Cornerback #27
Rams HC Sean McVay said Tre’Davious White (Achilles) is “making good progress” in his recovery.
White suffered a torn Achilles in Week 4 of last season and is still rehabbing his way back from the injury. The former Bill signed a one-year deal with the Rams earlier this offseason, and it doesn’t sound like McVay is ready to commit to White seeing a full workload when training camp kicks off next month. Still, the early reports on his recovery are encouraging, but most of his work this offseason has been done off to the side during team practices.
  • LAR Cornerback #27
Rams are signing CB Tre’Davious White, formerly of the Bills, to a one-year, $8.5 million contract.
The Bills released White this offseason to free up cap space after he tore his Achilles in Week 4 of the 2023 season. A former first-round pick, White started off his career strong, with first and second-team All-Pro honors under his belt to add to two Pro Bowls. However, he tore his ACL in 2021 and has appeared in 21 games over the last three seasons. The Rams now add White on a one-year deal, worth up to $10 million. Presumably, the Rams are comfortable with bringing White back from the torn Achilles and he gets a prove-it deal to return to form.
  • FA Cornerback #27
NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports free agent CB Tre’Davious White is scheduled to visit with the Rams and Raiders this week.
White has been dealt some major injury misfortunes as of late. The former first-round pick suffered a torn ACL in 2021 and was limited to just six games in 2022 as a result of the injury. Finally healthy at the start of 2023, White suffered a torn Achilles in Week 4 against the Dolphins and is once again hoping to return from another major injury. White totaled 12 tackles, one interception and two pass breakups in the four games he appeared in last year and earned a PFF coverage grade of 79.0. White will almost certainly find a new home before the start of training camp, but it’s possible he’ll be asked to sign a “prove-it” deal for 2024.
  • FA Cornerback #27
    Bills released CB Tre’Davious White.
The Bills were more than $40 million over the cap this morning and have been shedding veteran contracts like it’s going out of style today. White entered the 2021 season riding back-to-back Pro Bowl nods and a First-Team All-Pro nomination in 2019. A torn ACL cut that season short and ate into his playing time in the following year. Then, in Week 4 of last year, a torn Achilles ended his season once again. Injuries have all but derailed White’s career in recent years, limiting him to 21 regular season games over the past three seasons. Still under 30 years old, White should have some suitors on the open market, though he may be forced to sign a prove-it deal because of the injuries. He will be designated as a post-June 1st cut, saving $10.2 million in cap space.
  • BUF Cornerback #27
Tre’Davious White suffered a torn Achilles in the Bills’ Week 4 win over the Dolphins, ending his season.
White has now suffered season-ending injuries in two of his last three seasons, with the last being a torn ACL suffered in 2021. The Bills All-Pro corner will now miss the remainder of 2023, closing his season with 12 tackles, and one interception while earning a PFF coverage grade of 76.7. Assuming all goes well with his surgery, White should be ready for training camp next season.
