Gill

Blair, mostly a special teamer, has played eight games and 48 offensive snaps for the Falcons over the past three seasons.

Gill was waived by the Bears after they drafted Iowa punter Tory Taylor in the fourth round. Gill ranked near the bottom of the league in net yards per punt last year and struggled to pin opponents inside the 20. He will be fighting with Riley Dixon for the Broncos’ punting gig this summer.

Drafted in 2022, Gill ranked last among all punters in net yards per punt last year. He was among the worst punters in touchback rate and punts inside the 20. The Bears drafted Iowa punter Tory Taylor in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Still early in his career, Gill could earn a camp invite from another team this summer.

Gill (6'4/220) played for three seasons at NC State, setting the school’s record with a career punt average of 46.3. Lance Zierlein notes that he has a tendency to pull punts left and out of bounds and can be inconsistent with his distance. Gill will compete for a job in training camp.
