Treylon Burks caught 1-of-4 targets for a five-yard touchdown in the Commanders’ Week 13 loss to the Broncos.
Burks showed a glimpse at what made him a first-round pick for the Titans in the 2022 draft as he elevated over a defender for a one-handed touchdown in the third quarter. Unfortunately for him, that would go down as his only reception of the evening with the return of Terry McLaurin. He does not hold any fantasy value while playing behind McLaurin, Deebo Samuel, and Jaylin Lane.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #83
Jaylin Lane (hip) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
In addition to Terry McLaurin, Noah Brown and Treylon Burks were also limited today. It’s tough to say which depth options will suit up this week. With Marcus Mariota expected to make another start, it’s a situation fantasy managers don’t need to get bogged down by. Deebo Samuel is the only game in town until McLaurin returns. Zach Ertz is also in the mix as a volume-based TE1.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #13
Commanders WR Treylon Burks (finger) will not play in Washington’s Week 11 game against the Dolphins.
He didn’t travel to Spain with the team. Burks led the team in receiving yards last week — even just reading that in words conveys the direness of the Commanders passing attack right now. Jaylin Lane will have more paths to WR5 success now.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #13
Treylon Burks caught 3-of-3 targets for 58 yards in the Commanders’ Week 10 loss to the Lions.
Burks astonishingly led the Commanders in receiving yards this week. His performance was highlighted by hauling in a deep, contested catch along the left sideline for 38 yards. Across two 2025 appearances, he has now caught 4-of-4 targets for 75 yards. Boasting tight end-esque size and athleticism, Burks is sauntering toward waiver wire consideration. Burks notably out-snapped Commanders rookie WR Jaylin Lane 21-15. Lane caught 1-of-1 targets for 41 yards. The Commanders face the Dolphins in Week 11.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #16
Commanders signed WR Treylon Burks, formerly of the Titans.
Burks joins the Commanders’ practice squad on the same day that WRs Terry McLaurin (quad) and Deebo Samuel (heel) miss practice. McLaurin practiced on Wednesday but Samuel has remained sidelined at both practices. Burks has a chance to be called up on game day this weekend, though we imagine he would only be in on a small number of snaps. Burks does not need to be rostered at this time, though managers with ample bench space can stash him if they wish. Commanders WR Noah Brown (groin) was recently placed on injured reserve.
  • FA Wide Receiver #16
Free agent WR Treylon Burks is visiting the Broncos on Tuesday.
He’ll add the Commanders to the visit card tomorrow. The 25-year-old probably doesn’t have major untapped fantasy potential at this point, but he’s got the NFL size and speed to hang on at the end of rosters for a few years if he can catch a coaching staff’s eye.
  • FA Wide Receiver #16
Free agent WR Treylon Burks (collarbone) has been cleared to return to football activities.
Burks was placed on the waived/injured list by the Titans following his injury in training camp. After going unclaimed, Burks is now free to sign with any team. The former first-round pick has struggled to live up to the expectations that made him the No. 18 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, posting a career receiving line of 53-699-1 in 27 career games while battling multiple injuries along the way. Still only 25 years old, Burks is an ideal practice squad candidate for any team looking to improve their wide receiver room, but it’s hard to imagine him making much of an impact wherever he may land this season.
  • FA Wide Receiver #16
    Titans waived WR Treylon Burks.
Burks suffered a fractured collarbone over the weekend and has now been let go by the team. The Titans’ decision to replace A.J. Brown with Burks back in 2022 went about as poorly as we should have expected. The former No. 18 overall pick has struggled with injuries throughout his career and has failed to produce when healthy, totaling 53 receptions for 699 yards and one touchdown through 27 regular-season games. Burks was let go with a waived/injured designation due to his fractured collarbone and can be claimed by any team.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #16
Titans WR Treylon Burks (collarbone) injured Saturday in camp.
Burks came down awkwardly following a reception in camp Saturday, with initial testing indicating a broken collarbone. The injury is highly likely to sideline him for the start of the regular season. The Titans brought in a slew of pass-catching help this offseason, including wide receiver Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson, both of whom were projected to start over the former first-round receiver come September. This injury could be the proverbial nail in the coffin for the once-promising prospect following a torn ACL suffered in Week 5 of the 2024 season.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #16
Titans GM Mike Borgonzi said Treylon Burks (knee) will be good to “everything” in training camp.
The fourth-year wideout appears to have come back from his Week 5 ACL tear ahead of schedule. That doesn’t mean you need to make him a fantasy football selection this year — that ship has probably sailed — but it’s great news for his chances of continuing his NFL career. And hey, it’s not like beating out Van Jefferson for a starting job is hard, right?
