NBC Sports Houston’s Aaron Wilson reports that the Texans have shown interest in free agent OG Wyatt Teller.
Wilson is quick to note that nothing is “pending or imminent there.” A calf injury ended Teller’s 2025 season prematurely. The veteran offensive guard, now 31 years old, remains a moderately capable run blocker, having earned a 65.7 PFF run-blocking grade last season.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reports the Giants have expressed interest in Wyatt Teller.
Cleveland’s long-time guard will hit free agency and has already announced he won’t return to the Browns after being benched at points towards the end of the season. Teller finished with a 62.2 PFF offensive grade, his second season in a row under 70 as he struggled through injuries. It’s possible he’s not a star guard anymore, but it certainly seems like NFL teams believe he has something left in the tank.

Browns RG Wyatt Teller announced he will be leaving the team in free agency.
Teller made a heartfelt post to the city of Cleveland and its fans on social media to say his goodbyes. All five starting offensive linemen for the Browns are set to hit free agency, and now at least one of them will not be back. At 31 years old, the three-time Pro Bowl guard should have plenty of suitors in free agency.
  • CLE Guard #77
Browns placed RG Wyatt Teller (calf) on injured reserve.
Teller returned from the calf issue last week but only played a handful of snaps before leaving the game. His season is now over. The team signed Kingsley Eguakun in a corresponding move. Eguakun comes from the Lions’ practice squad.

    Harold Fannin
    CLE Tight End #44
Harold Fannin (groin) is questionable for Week 17’s game against the Steelers after being added to the injury report on Friday.
It’s never a good sign when a player is added to Friday’s injury report, but Fannin told reporters on Sunday that he plans to play. In addition to Fannin, backup QB Dillon Gabriel (shoulder) was also added to Friday’s injury report and is listed as questionable. CB Myles Harden (shoulder), DT Sam Kamara (elbow), and OG Wyatt Teller (calf) are also listed as questionable for this weekend.
  • CLE Guard #77
Browns OG Wyatt Teller (calf) is inactive for Week 16 against the Bills.
Teller was questionable entering the weekend but has been ruled out. Backup Teven Jenkins will start in his place. In addition to Teller, the Browns have also ruled out CB Denzel Ward, RB Dylan Sampson, DT Mike Hall Jr., WR Jamari Thrash, TE David Njoku, and DT Sam Kamara.
  • CLE Guard #77
Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) is questionable for Cleveland’s Week 16 game against the Bills.
If he can go, Teller’s return will push Teven Jenkins into a snap share. RT Jack Conklin (concussion) will miss his third-straight game as well.
  • CLE Guard #77
Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) returned to practice Wednesday.
Right tackle Jack Conklin remains out of practice with a concussion and left guard Joel Bitonio remains out with a back issue. Teller’s return will help a struggling Browns offense, but it isn’t going to change their fortunes overnight. Expect this to be a low-wattage offense for the remainder of the season.
  • CLE Tackle #78
Browns RT Jack Conklin (concussion) will not play in Cleveland’s Week 15 game against the Bears.
That makes two weeks in a row where Conklin will sit with a concussion, and he didn’t practice all week. Joel Bitonio (knee/back) is questionable after not practicing either of the first two days, while Wyatt Teller (calf) remains out. Cleveland’s OL injuries are dire enough that we must point out that Zak Zinter (back) is also questionable.
  • CLE Guard #77
Browns RG Wyatt Teller (calf) did not practice Wednesday.
Teller went down with the calf injury in Week 13 against the 49ers and did not return to the game. A DNP today suggests he will miss at least one week. Right tackle Jack Conklin suffered a concussion versus San Francisco and was not able to practice today. He is all but guaranteed to sit out of Week 14’s game versus the Titans. Shedeur Sanders will face Tennessee behind a tattered offensive line on Sunday.
