Cardinals WR Zay Jones suffered a torn Achilles in Week 10’s loss to the Seahawks and will be out for the season.
Jones felt his Achilles pop in Sunday’s loss and was assisted off the field by medical trainers. The nine-year vet has caught 12 passes for 183 scoreless yards this season and re-upped with the Cardinals on a one-year deal earlier this offseason. The 30-year-old receiver will now have surgery to repair his Achilles, but could be set to join a team next offseason once healthy.

Cardinals WR Zay Jones (knee) was limited on Friday.
Jones is rarely on the FLEX radar these days, but a matchup against the Cowboys can help anyone score fantasy points. Jones remains limited through two practices, so he is clearly less than 100.0 percent. If active, he can be started by managers in need as a boom-bust FLEX option, reliant upon the deep ball.

Cardinals WR Zay Jones (knee) was limited on Thursday.
The Cardinals face the Cowboys in Week 9’s Monday Night Football game, so Jones should have plenty of time to get his knee game-ready. The volatile downfield wide receiver is a boom-bust FLEX option, given the matchup. His odds of catching another deep pass could increase if QB Kyler Murray (foot) misses another game.

Zay Jones caught 2-of-2 targets for 67 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Packers.
Jones made a pair of grabs in the Cardinals’ two minute drills, keeping possessions alive for Jacoby Brissett. He first converted a 43-yard reception in the first half to keep a scoring drive going for the Cardinals. His next target and catch came towards the end of the fourth quarter, catching a pass for 24 yards to continue the final Cardinals drive. Jones was oft-used last week with Marvin Harrison (concussion) exiting the game, but he took a backseat with Harrison back. Jones is best left on fantasy benches for now.

Cardinals WR Zay Jones (knee) is questionable for Week 7 against the Packers.
Jones returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday, making him truly questionable to play this weekend. With No. 1 WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) cleared to play, Jones would only be a dart-throw FLEX option, if he is also active. The Packers’ top-tier defense does not make for a matchup to target.

Cardinals WR Zay Jones (knee) was not seen practicing on Thursday.
We expect Jones to be listed as a non-participant on the team’s official injury report later today. With WRs Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) and Michael Wilson (foot) nursing injuries of their own, Jones seemingly had a chance to sneak onto the FLEX radar this week, but he is now on the wrong side of questionable for Arizona’s Week 7 game against the Packers.

Cardinals WR Zay Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.
The Cardinals’ passing game is in rough shape. Cardinals QB Kyler Murray (foot), and WRs Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) and Michael Wilson (foot) were limited today as well. If Jones can suit up in Week 7 against the Packers, he could find himself in a FLEX-worthy role, catching passes from QB Jacoby Brissett.

Zay Jones caught 5-of-8 targets for 79 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 6 loss to the Colts.
Jones tallied season-highs in receptions and yards in the Cardinals’ loss to the Colts Week 6. The 30-year-old emerged as a primary option for Jacoby Brissett after Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) left the game in the second quarter. Jones benefitted from Brissett’s downfield vision and looks to be on the fantasy radar should Harrison remain out. He is a waiver wire target for Week 7.

Cardinals LT Paris Johnson (knee) is active for Week 4 against the Seahawks.
Kyler Murray will have his top-tier left tackle protecting his blindside against the Seahawks’ pass rush this evening. The Cardinals declared CB Will Johnson, WR Zay Jones, LB Xavier Thomas, OL Will Hernandez, OL Demontrey Jacobs and TE Travis Vokelek inactive for Week 4 against the Seahawks. The Cardinals’ secondary is in rough shape. They lost CB Starling Thomas V to a torn ACL this summer and placed CB Garrett Williams on injured reserve last week with a knee injury of his own. Johnson has played very well when available. Hopefully, his groin injury heals up in time for Week 5.

Cardinals WR Zay Jones (concussion) is out for Week 4.
Jones will miss Thursday night’s game against the Seahawks after sustaining a head injury in Week 3 and entering the NFL’s concussion protocol. Greg Dortch could see an increase in playing time with Jones sidelined. He won’t be fantasy viable as the team’s fourth or fifth option.
