Beijing Olympic champion wrestler Henry Cejudo pulled out of his UFC debut fight Friday, citing medical reasons, according to UFC.

Cejudo, who became the youngest U.S. Olympic wrestling champion at 21 at Beijing 2008, was scheduled to fight Scott Jorgensen on Saturday. His withdrawal came hours before the weigh-in.

The son of illegal immigrants from Mexico, Cejudo’s story gained fame in 2008, and was told in a book, “American Victory.”

He did not qualify for London at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials and gave up wrestling to start a mixed martial arts career.

Cejudo missed weight for his previous two mma bouts and pulled out of one for “personal reasons,” according to SB Nation.
