Kaillie Humphries, who came back from childbirth to win two Olympic medals in February, announced she is pregnant with her second child.
In a social media video, Humphries indicated she is due next January.
Humphries, 40, owns a female record three Olympic bobsled gold medals and six total medals, which is tied with fellow American Elana Meyers Taylor for the female bobsled record.
Humphries, who was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2021, had son Aulden in June 2024 after several rounds of IVF.
At the Milan Cortina Games, she took bronze medals in both women’s bobsled events — monobob (which she won in its Olympic debut in 2022) and the two-woman event with Jasmine Jones (which Humphries won in 2010 and 2014 while representing Canada).
Humphries said last winter that she had not decided whether she planned to continue competing leading up to the next Olympics in the Alps in 2030.
