Patrick Surtain is questionable for this week’s game with a “leg” injury.
Miami has been understandably quiet with this one. If he’s unable to go, rookie Will Poole would start. That would be a nice match-up for the Bengals receivers this weekend.

The Dolphins have given three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Surtain permission to seek a trade.
This has been rumored for a while. Surtain’s press style may not fit what Nick Saban is looking for. We’d imagine Surtain, who wants a contract extension, would still be worth a mid-round draft pick at least.

The Chiefs are the closest team to trading for cornerback Patrick Surtain, but a deal is not imminent.
It would be surprising if Kansas City doesn’t pick up Surtain, Ty Law, or Fred Smoot to help their cornerback troubles.

Patrick Surtain, questionable with a groin injury, will likely play in the Dolphins game this week.

Bad news for Hines Ward and Plaxico Burress.
  • FA Defensive Back
The Dolphins are rumored to be looking to trade cornerback Patrick Surtain.
He has one expensive year left on his contract. He may not fit Miami’s new defense, which may veer away from constant press coverage.
  • FA Defensive Back
The Chiefs are reportedly the leading candidates to acquire cornerback Patrick Surtain via trade.
They could give up a second round pick. The Colts and Raides are two other teams believed to be in the mix.
