    Bills re-signed CB Reggie Corner.
With Terrence McGee (hamstring) sidelined, the Bills bring back their 2008 fourth-round pick. Corner was released at final cuts earlier this month. Undrafted rookie linebacker Robert Eddins was placed on injured reserve in a corresponding move.
  • FA Defensive Back #37
Jaguars signed CB Reggie Corner, WR Charles Gilbert, and OT Dan Hoch.
They also cut UDFA rookies LB Donovan Richard, CB Dontrell Johnson, and WR Chris Forcier. Corner was Buffalo’s slot corner for all of the 2010 season, but fell out of favor in 2011 and went unsigned in the first several waves of 2012 free agency. He’s a long shot in Jacksonville. Hoch played college ball at Mizzou.
  • FA Defensive Back #37
    Jaguars waived/injured CB Reggie Corner.
Corner, signed in late June, lasted just over a month after sustaining an early-camp knee injury. He’ll likely be released with a settlement later on.
  • FA Defensive Back #37
Jaguars released CB Reggie Corner with an injury settlement.
Corner suffered a knee injury early in camp. A fifth-year pro, Corner appeared in 11 games for the Bills last season, making one start. He’ll look for special teams work.
  • FA Defensive Back #37
Reggie Corner is the favorite to handle nickel back duties for the Bills this season.
The 2008 fourth-round pick was impressive in OTAs. Still, Corner is very undersized at 5'9/175 and Ashton Youboty won’t go down without a fight in training camp. Drayton Florence and Ko Simpson are other options to fill in at the nickel.
  • FA Defensive Back #30
Drayton Florence (sprained knee) won’t play Monday night against the Patriots, according to coach Dick Jauron.
Last week Jauron was hopeful that Florence could play, but now it looks as if Reggie Corner will take over as the team’s nickel back while Florence is out.
  • FA Defensive Back #30
Bills CB Drayton Florence is out 2-5 weeks with a sprained knee.
Florence was battling for nickle duties with Reggie Corner and Ashton Youboty. The injury means that Corner will likely take over the role heading into Week 1. Florence’s roster spot is in danger.
  • FA Defensive Back #37
Bills signed fourth-round CB Reggie Corner to an undisclosed contract.
Corner is a lightweight cornerback from Akron who had 15 picks in college. He has excellent ball skills, although it was surprising he went so high in the draft. For now, he’s working as the second team slot corner.
  • FA Defensive Back #31
After the Bills drafted CBs Leodis McKelvin, Reggie Corner, and Kennard Cox over the weekend, Ashton Youboty is on the roster bubble.
Corner, Youboty, Will James, and Cox will vie for two jobs behind McKelvin, Terrence McGee, and Jabari Greer. Youboty was a third-round pick in 2006.
  • FA Defensive Back
Bills CB Leodis McKelvin is expected to start opposite Terrence McGee in 2009.
Free agent Jabari Greer is not likely to be brought back after McKelvin emerged as a major playmaker down the stretch. Last year’s fourth-rounder, Reggie Corner, will challenge Ashton Youboty for the No. 3 cornerback role. Both McKelvin and McGee will be worthwhile targets in big-play IDP leagues.
