Talley

Talley spent time on the Packers practice squad after going undrafted out of Delaware in 2009. He’ll play a backup role and perhaps pinch in on special teams.

Undrafted out of Delaware in 2009, Talley didn’t record a single tackle and was primarily a game-day inactive after being promoted in mid-September.

It’s Talley second stint with the club, though he failed to appear in a game while on the roster for six weeks earlier in the year.

Talley was signed by Arizona in November, and he recorded eight tackles and a sack in three games. He’ll return as a rotational end, assuming he makes the team.

Talley participated in Tampa’s minicamp this week on a tryout basis. The 28-year-old played 190 defensive snaps across 15 games for the Cardinals the past three seasons. At 6'3/286, he can play end or tackle. The Bucs waived WR Aaron Burks and DT Everett Dawkins to make room.

A fourth-year undrafted free agent, Talley has made 15 career appearances for the Cardinals, including six last season. He’d remain an end-of-roster type in Tennessee.

Talley was out of the league last year after getting cut by the Bucs in training camp. He spent his first three seasons in Arizona, playing under Todd Bowles. Talley will compete for one of the Jets’ final roster spots.

All of the above spent the year on Green Bay’s practice squad. Lumpkin showed some promise as a third-down back in 2009 training camp and will push for a roster spot this summer behind Ryan Grant and Brandon Jackson.

Talley is targeting the first practice of minicamp for his return after the “cleanup” procedure. He spent last season on the Packers’ practice squad.
