D'Imperio

D’Imperio was waived at final cuts before landing on the p-squad. The college linebacker is making the switch to lead blocker.

D’Imperio appeared in 12 games for the Vikings in 2011, but he was out of the league last season. The converted linebacker is a roster long shot.

A linebacker at Rutgers, D’Imperio is converting into a lead blocker for the Vikes. He’ll probably have to beat out Naufahu Tahi to make the roster.

D’Imperio was a high school fullback before playing linebacker for his entire career at Rutgers. He’s behind Naufahu Tahi and Jeff Dugan on the depth chart.

Still only 26, D’Imperio must not have liked his roster chances despite being the Giants’ only healthy fullback. Ben Guidugli has been signed to take his place. It’s a sign Henry Hynoski (knee) will be ready for Week 1. D’Imperio was out of the league last season, and was cut by the Chiefs earlier this year.

They were all 2010 Vikings practice squad members. Olsen was the highest draft pick -- a fourth-rounder in 2009 by the Broncos. Brown put up a ton of stats at Utah, but projects as no more than an offseason practice wideout.

The seventh-rounder was a conversion project after playing linebacker at Rutgers. He’s a candidate for the practice squad.
