Giants signed QB Ryan Perrilloux, WRs Dan DePalma and Isaiah Stanback, DT Dwayne Hendricks, TE Christian Hopkins, LB Adrian Tracy, OT Selvish Capers, CB Brandon Bing, and RB Andre Brown to reserve/future contracts.
All of the above ended the 2011 season on the Giants’ practice squad. Perrilloux and Capers were shuffled back and forth between the practice squad and waiver wire. Perrilloux might have an outside chance to stick as the team’s No. 3 QB in 2012. Of course, he’d need the G-Men to carry three quarterbacks.

According to Vikings beat writer Judd Zulgad, the team never did sign undrafted free agent Ryan Perrilloux.
Both NFL.com and the Birmingham Press-Register reported that a deal was struck a day or two after April’s draft, but that appears to be false information. The odds of Perrilloux landing in Minnesota are slimmer now that Joe Webb is playing QB. Perrilloux hasn’t drawn known interest elsewhere.

Jacksonville State QB Ryan Perrilloux ran a 4.79 forty-yard dash at his Pro Day on Friday.
He also had a 9-foot-3 broad jump and a 30-inch vertical. Perrilloux, the No. 1 quarterback recruit coming out of high school in 2005, was not invited to last month’s Combine. The 2009 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year may have a tough time getting drafted due to a litany of off-field woes.

Jacksonville State QB Ryan Perrilloux is notably left off the list of invitees for next week’s Scouting Combine.
While Perrilloux may be added later, it appears the NFL is holding his past off-field transgressions against him. He was 2009 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year, throwing 23 TDs and just two picks. Other notables left off: Bowling Green WR Freddie Barnes, Tennessee QB Jonathan Crompton, Arizona State RB Dimitri Nance, Eastern Washington QB Matt Nichols, Hampton RB LaMarcus Coker, Kansas QB Todd Reesing, and Auburn CB Walter McFadden.

Vikings signed Jacksonville State QB Ryan Perrilloux.
There he is. The nation’s No. 1 overall high school recruit in 2005, Perrilloux was an off-the-field incident waiting to happen at LSU before resurfacing at Jacksonville State and winning Ohio Valley Conference POY honors as a senior. He’s a big-time athlete with a big-time arm, and will get a chance to compete with Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels in training camp.

Giants signed QB Ryan Perrilloux to a reserve/future contract.
Perrilloux backed up Josh McCown with the UFL’s Hartford Colonials in 2010, completing just 33-of-69 passes (47.8 percent) at 5.71 yards per attempt. Former Giants QBs coach Chris Palmer heads up the Colonials, so Perrilloux must have received a positive report.
