Marc Cucurella assisted both of Oyarzabal’s goals from the left wing, a pair of first-time finishes requiring such deft touch and placement. Oyarzabal also bagged a brace in Spain’s 4-0 victory over Saudi Arabia during the group stage, bringing his tournament tally to four, now just two behind Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe in the race for Golden Boot.
Pedro Porro got the other goal for Spain, a powerful header through traffic just after the hour mark set up by Alex Baena.
Up next for Spain will be either Portugal or Croatia in the round of 16 on Monday (3 pm ET).
