It’s a high-wattage tie to meet a pair of big exits in the third round, as Liverpool ousted Spurs and Brighton came back from a 2-0 deficit to send Manchester United out at Old Trafford.

2025-26 champions Manchester City are in the third round’s final tie, set to be played versus Norwich City on Thursday.
