Pep Guardiola reaction — What did Man City boss say after Haaland’s two goals vs Bournemouth?

"[Bournemouth] is such a demanding team [to play against] for many years, but we played really, really good and that’s difficult to do. The threat in behind was always there, to be so coordinated without our pressing, but especially defending today with the ball was so clever. And of course, again, Erling was decisive.”

“We knew [their quality]. We played them last season and they destroyed us. [Games] have always been tight with them, so intense, so aggressive.”

“Important win. it’s good to bounce back after losing a bad away game, so it was nice.”

“I try to contribute for the team, doing my job and we won again. It’s good to win. Now, two more important games before the international break — keep focused.”

On Rayan Cherki assisting both of his goals: “We all know his qualities. It’s about trying to get the best out of everyone and today he had two amazing assists to me, so hopefully many more.”
